Try Tatsulok without signing up: one PDF, cited answers, no account

You can now use Tatsulok before you make an account. Add a PDF or type a question in the box on the homepage, and the answer comes back with citations you can open: on your own file, or on the web page it came from. When you want to keep going, sign in free: the chat and your file come with you.

An answer card reading "You give 30 days' written notice.", with its citation linked to the highlighted passage in job-contract.pdf: "The Employee may resign by giving thirty (30) days' written notice."

What can you do on the homepage without an account?

The box at the top of the Tatsulok homepage is the product itself, not a video or a sample answer. It reads "Drop a PDF, or ask a question" (on a phone, "Add a PDF, or ask"). You can start either way.

Add a PDF and Tatsulok reads it, then answers before you ask anything: two sentences on what the file is, each followed by a citation to the passage it rests on. Under that answer sit three questions about your file, ready to tap. Ask a question with no file and you get a normal answer, and when it searches the web, its sources are cited.

A guest chat has room for a few messages of your own. The first answer to your file does not count as one of them.

What does a citation show you here?

Each citation opens your file beside the chat, at the page it names, with the quoted passage highlighted. You read the sentence the answer rests on, in your own file, and decide whether it says what the answer says.

When the passage cannot be matched on the page with confidence, the viewer shows the page and highlights nothing, rather than mark the wrong lines.

A document you already know is the quickest test. If you wrote or signed the file, you can tell at a glance whether an answer is right. For more on reading a citation, see Citations you can open.

What happens to the chat and the file when you sign in?

When the guest messages are used up, one line appears under the last answer: "Sign in free to keep going. This chat and your file come with you." There is no counter and no countdown before it.

Signing in from the same browser moves the chat and the file into your account, a new one or one you already have, and opens the same chat. The file joins your library and is indexed like any file you upload. What you used as a guest is not taken from your free plan.

Come back to the homepage in the same browser and it opens your guest chat again, for up to 7 days after you first used it. A guest chat that is never claimed is deleted after those 7 days, along with its file.

What can a guest chat not do?

A guest chat is for one file and a few questions. It holds one PDF of up to 10 pages and 5 MB. A scanned PDF, whose pages are pictures with no text to read, is read after you sign in, not before.

The rest of Tatsulok is in the sidebar and opens after sign-in: your library, apps, Mail and Drive (Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive and OneDrive) and settings. A guest chat reads your file and searches the web. It never sends, shares or changes anything outside Tatsulok.

Guest chats also share a daily limit. On a busy day the homepage may say guest chats are paused for today; signing in free works then too.

FAQ

Can I use Tatsulok without an account?
Yes. Since 21 October 2026, the box on the Tatsulok homepage takes a PDF or a question with no sign-up. You get a few messages, with answers that cite their sources, before Tatsulok asks you to sign in free.
What kind of file can I add as a guest?
One PDF of up to 10 pages and 5 MB. A scanned PDF with no text to read is read after you sign in.
Do I lose my guest chat when I sign in?
No. Sign in from the same browser and the chat and the file move into your account, new or existing, and the same chat opens.
What happens to my file if I never sign in?
A guest chat lasts 7 days. After that, a chat that was never claimed is deleted, and its file with it.
Can a guest connect Gmail or Google Drive?
No. Mail and Drive, the library, apps and settings open after you sign in. A guest chat only reads your one file and searches the web.
