Delete your Tatsulok account

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Note: In case of any discrepancy between the English and translated versions, the English version shall prevail.

This page explains how to delete your Tatsulok account and the data in it, or only some of your data. You can do it on the web without the Tatsulok app installed. Tatsulok is operated by Aquila Smart City Technologies, Inc.

1. How to delete your account

  • On the web: sign in at tatsulok.com, click your name or your picture at the bottom of the left sidebar, and choose Settings, then Privacy and data. Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account, type DELETE, and choose Delete My Account. Open Privacy and data (sign in first if you are not signed in).
  • In the Tatsulok app: open the menu, tap your initial at the bottom to open Settings, and tap your name at the top. Under Delete account, tap Delete my account, and confirm with Schedule deletion.
  • If you cannot sign in: email support@tatsulok.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply to that address and schedule the deletion once you confirm.

2. Delete some of your data without deleting your account

In Tatsulok, by Aquila Smart City Technologies, Inc., you can delete some of your data and keep your account. To open Settings: on the web, click your name or your picture at the bottom of the left sidebar and choose Settings; in the app, open the menu and tap your initial at the bottom.

  • Files and folders. On the web, open Library, open the item's menu or right-click it, choose Move to Trash, and confirm. In the app, open Library, then swipe the item left and tap Trash, or press and hold it and tap Move to Trash, and confirm with Move to Trash.
  • How Trash works. Items in Trash are deleted after at least 30 days, together with their stored copies and the search index built from them. Until then, you can bring an item back with Restore: on the web, open Library, then Trash; in the app, open Library and tap the trash icon at the top. To delete an item at once, use Delete Permanently on the web: open Library, then Trash, choose Delete Permanently from the item's menu, and confirm.
  • Chats. On the web, right-click a chat in the sidebar, or open the chat's … menu, and choose Move to Trash. In the app, open the chat's … menu, tap Move to Trash, and confirm with Move to Trash, or press and hold the chat in your chat list, tap Delete, and confirm with Delete. A deleted chat goes to Trash like a file. When it is deleted from Trash, after at least 30 days or at once with Delete Permanently on the web, its messages are deleted with it.
  • Memory. Open Settings, then Memory and instructions. Next to a fact, choose Forget (on the web, the trash icon), and confirm with Forget. Tatsu stops using the fact, and its note goes to Trash. Forgetting your location note also turns location off: Tatsu stops recording and using where you are, and your timezone is still used for times. To turn it back on, choose Turn on on the same screen.
  • A connected account, such as Google or Microsoft. On the web, open Settings, then Extensions, choose the disconnect icon next to the account, and confirm with Disconnect. This is on the web only. Disconnecting removes Tatsulok's access to the account (for Google, we also ask Google to revoke it) and discards unsent email drafts written for it. Emails and files Tatsulok already saved from the account are not deleted when you disconnect. They are deleted with your account, or sooner if you email support@tatsulok.com.
  • Tatsu apps. On the web, open Apps, right-click the app or press and hold it, choose Delete…, and confirm with Delete. In the app, open Apps, press and hold the app, tap Move to Trash, and confirm with Delete. The app and its data go to Trash. Remove from Apps deletes nothing; it only takes the app out of Apps. Some records of your own, such as your scores and tally entries, are deleted with your account.
  • Anything else. Email support@tatsulok.com from the email address on your account and tell us what to delete. We reply to that address and delete it, except records the law requires us to keep.

3. What happens next

Your account is scheduled for deletion 30 days after you ask. We do not erase your account during those 30 days, and you can keep signing in and using Tatsulok. Items you moved to Trash are still emptied on their usual schedule. Signing in does not stop the deletion. To keep your account, go back to the same screen and choose Cancel Deletion on the web, or Keep my account in the app. After the 30 days, the deletion job runs once a day and handles a few accounts each run, so your deletion can finish some days later. Once it runs, it cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your data, export it first on the web, from Settings, then Privacy and data.

4. When deletion waits

In these cases deletion does not fail. It waits, and it finishes once each one that applies to you is settled.

  • A paid plan of your own. Deletion waits until the plan has ended. If nothing else on this list applies once your 30 days are up, we try to cancel it for you, and deletion goes ahead once it has ended. While anything else on this list applies we do not cancel it, so cancel it yourself if you do not want it to continue. You can cancel your plan at any time from Settings, then Plan and billing. If you cancel the deletion after your plan is set to end, the plan still ends unless you keep it, which you can do on the web right after cancelling the deletion or later in Plan and billing.
  • A shared plan (Team or Family). We do not cancel a plan other people use. Deletion waits until it has ended; you can cancel it on the web from Settings, then Teams. If you cannot cancel it yourself, write to support@tatsulok.com.
  • A team workspace you own. Transfer it to another admin, or close it, from its settings on the web first. To close a workspace with a paid plan, cancel that plan first (we do not cancel it for you); the workspace can be closed once the paid period has ended. A workspace you transfer still has its files outside its Trash, and may still have conversations in its projects that you shared with it. When you close one, you decide whether to delete its files or move them to your personal library, which is deleted with your account.
  • Things a person has to finish. Some data cannot be deleted automatically:
    • something of yours in a team's library that we cannot pass to someone who manages the team and can already open it, for example because the team was closed or only particular people can open it;
    • records we must keep by law;
    • content you published for other people to use;
    • a very large account, with 10,000 or more of one kind of record, such as library items or saved document versions.

    Write to support@tatsulok.com and we will finish it with you, keeping only what the law requires. You can unpublish what you published yourself.

5. What we delete

When deletion runs, we delete:

  • Your account profile, and your sign-in record with our sign-in provider.
  • Everything in your personal library, including items in Trash: files, folders, threads and their messages, drafts, notes, memory, and apps you made.
  • The stored copies of your files, and the search index built from them.
  • Accounts you connected, such as Google or WhatsApp, and what Tatsulok stored from them. We revoke our access before we delete the connection.
  • Email drafts, API keys, contacts, tasks, and automations.
  • Devices, browser extensions, and Office add-ins you linked to your account.
  • Your usage history and credits, and our own copies of your subscription and payment records.
  • Data exports we prepared for you and still store.
  • Diagnostic records tied to your account, including feedback you sent us.

6. What we keep, and for how long

Some records are not yours alone, or we have to keep them:

  • Work in someone else's space. Messages you posted in a thread that belongs to another person stay in that thread, and access you gave other people to items you do not own stays in place.
  • Your work in a team's library. Files, folders, drafts and apps you added to a team's library stay with the team, kept by someone who manages the team and can already open them, and everyone else who could open them still can. So does project memory saved for the whole team, and so do conversations in the team's projects that you shared with the team, except some older ones, which are deleted with your account. A conversation you shared with no one is never passed on and is deleted with your account, and so is project memory saved only for you, and anything of yours in the team's Trash.
  • Audit history. Records of what was shared and with whom, and of changes you made to other people's documents, are kept as audit history with no set end date. They point to an account that no longer exists.
  • A team's billing records. They belong to the team and are kept with no set end date.
  • Purchase records held by Paddle. Paddle.com Market Limited is our merchant of record. It keeps its own records of your purchases, such as invoices and tax records, under its own retention rules.
  • Short-lived service logs. Our providers keep request metadata, with no content from your workspace, for a short time on their own schedule, for example up to 7 days at Cloudflare. The Privacy Policy lists each provider.
  • Records the law requires us to keep, for as long as the law requires.
  • Things outside Tatsulok. What you sent or stored through other services stays with them, such as email sent through Gmail, files in your Google Drive, or WhatsApp messages.
  • Sign in with Apple. If you signed in with Apple, Apple keeps the link between your Apple Account and Tatsulok after we delete your account. You can remove it in your Apple Account settings, under Sign in with Apple.
