Draft a reply and send it
A good reply needs facts from the thread and from your files, and gathering them takes time. Ask Tatsu to draft it, change what is wrong, and send it yourself.

Steps
A draft is a proposal: check four things before you send
In Gmail and Outlook, a draft is an unsent message in your Drafts folder; sending it moves it to Sent. Whoever writes a draft, the person who presses Send is responsible for it. Before you send, check four things: who it goes to, every name, date and amount against the email or file it came from, the tone, and the attachments.
In Tatsulok, Tatsu has no send action. Only your “Send Email” button, or a send time you set, sends the email.
What Tatsu can do
- Write a reply from the thread, the files in your Library, and other mail you ask it to read.
- Keep a reply in its thread. Asking for changes updates the same draft instead of starting another.
- Attach a file from your Library, or an attachment from another email.
- Revise a draft you edited yourself. It must read your version before it changes anything, so an older copy never replaces your edits.
What Tatsu cannot do
- Send the email. You press “Send Email”, or set a send time.
- Guarantee every fact. Check names, dates and amounts against the source before you send.
- Put citation numbers in the email. They stay in the chat, where you can open them.
How it fits with your Library, memory and apps
Tatsu drafts from your mail and your Library, so a reply can state the exact clause or amount, and the number beside it in the chat opens the line it came from. To start, connect your email. Tell Tatsu how you sign off or which tone you prefer, and it remembers; you can see or change that in Settings, “Memory and instructions”. If the email is about something you keep in an app, such as an order or an expense, Tatsu can read its rows for the reply.
You stay in charge
- You choose who the email goes to, and you can add or remove anyone before you send.
- Nothing leaves until you confirm in “Send Email?”.
- You can “Discard” a draft, or choose “Cancel schedule” before a send time comes.
- Disconnecting the account cancels Tatsulok's unsent and scheduled drafts for it.
Privacy
- Tatsu reads the emails and files a reply needs when you ask. The model providers that answer your questions commit to no training and to keeping none of your content afterwards.
- Within two days after a draft is sent or discarded, Tatsulok deletes its saved text and the messages it quotes. If a sent email has not shown up in your Sent folder yet, they are kept until it does, for up to about 30 days. The chat keeps what Tatsu wrote until you delete the conversation.
Questions
- Can Tatsu send the reply without me?
- No. Tatsu has no send action: only your “Send Email” button, or a send time you set, sends the email.
- Can I send it later?
- Yes. Choose the arrow beside “Send Email”, then “Tomorrow morning” or “Monday morning” (9:00 your time), or “Pick date & time”. It goes out within about five minutes of that time, even if Tatsulok is closed. To change it, choose “Cancel schedule”, edit, and set the time again.
- Will the reply stay in the same thread?
- Yes. Tatsu replies inside the email's thread, and when you ask for changes it updates that same draft.
- Can I send it from Gmail or Outlook instead?
- Yes. The draft also sits in your Drafts folder, so you can open it in your mail app and send it from there.
- Why are there no citation numbers in the email?
- The numbers only work inside Tatsulok, so Tatsu keeps them in its answer in the chat and writes the fact itself in the email. Open each number before you send.
